    wish on my day

gosh! it's passed 2 already in the morning and i am so into this craft. i have created one for myself as a gift for my birthday!

28 years have passed and i could not thank God enough for the countless blessings He has given me. one thing i could not stop thanking for is the gift of life, His gift beyond compare.

there's only one wish and prayer i have for my birthday, that is good health for me and my husband.

    seventh heaven

i was browsing on my husband's baby album, his 7th birthday "blowing of candles" shot caught my attention, i remember having the same shot on my 7th birthday as well, and i was blowing my birthday cake, which my aunt luz bought for me.

i included our wedding picture, 'coz we decided to tie the knot exactlly on the 7th year of our togetherness.

as part of my new hobby, i experimented on combining the pictures all together...

this is some kinda addictive huh...

    more practice bwahahahahaha!

i came across Meng's blog, i was so curious and wanted to see how evil am i, and found out that i need more practice hehehe...

    You Are 26% Evil

A bit of evil lurks in your heart, but you hide it well.

In some ways, you are the most dangerous kind of evil.

    Our Wedding Songs

I can say my hubby and I are mp3-addicts, maybe that's one reason why we did not hire any quartet/band, we thought of making use of our collections instead.

We had more songs during Dinner and Pictorial, and Receiving of Guests, we want to share with you the mains songs we used in our wedding.

NOTE: If you can't download the song, just send me a note and I'll send it to you privately. Enjoy Listening!

    shower party

syensya na paatras ang mga topics na pinopost ko dito... i don't want to post anything muna about what happened in our wedding, we plan to do it when we get the pictures from master Rene G.!

here's my pix with my bestfriend Crispy during the shower party she prepared for me. if i am not mistaken, she texted my hubby before xmas asking for the contact numbers of my friends, eh syempre sobrang busy si hubby that time, he wasn't able to get in touch with Pipay. 2wks after that, hindi na siguro makatiis etong bestfriend ko, dahil hindi nya ma-execute ang plans nya, ako mismo ang tinanong nya ng contact details ng mga friends ko, pero sabi nya hanggang yun na lang daw muna ang info na maibibigay nya, the rest will be a surprise hehehe... so i believed the rest of the preparations was a joint effort of Crispy and Mase (my close friend), oh well, so hinayaan ko lang ang mga lolang yan! a week before my wedding, we had this "bridal shower" @ 4pm. i was surprised to see people from the office and from my previous company.... here are some of the pix:

from the left, mamu lea (our ninang sa kasal), Crispy, mami Che, Mase, Riqy, and the two people standing are me and Sheila, not included in the picture, my boss and her cute baby girl coz they left early. this picture below is the "Toast to the Cake" picture hehehe....

    our Cake and Fruit Fountain

the first picture shows our cake by Alex Franco. it was a satellite of a 5-layer all edible and refrigerated cakes. We have availed prune cake with chocolate mousse fillings with fresh mangoes and Australian caramel sauce on all layers, decorated with flowers on top of every layer and fruits and vegetables all over the table. The package also included miniature doves in bird cage with flower arrangements. We also got chocolate fudge-brownies wrapped in our color motif. We had 1 free chocolate cake as well!

aside from the traditional cake cutting and wine toasting ceremonies , we have availed this Fruit Fountain originally created/designed by Al Navarro. In the ceremony, the groom will pick any fruit (usually grapes) and will feed the bride, then the bride will do the same thing to the groom. It is said, that this ceremony symbolizes fruitful and prosperous lives together as husband and wife. In one part of the program, my hubby and I announced that the guests can pick the fruits from this fountain, and that this means sharing our blessings to other people as well. This is one part I liked most in our reception program, it was a fun-filled of excitement to everyone!
